Good morning, GiD team.

I’m working in LINUX Opensuse, with the latest beta version of GiD.
GiD used to work perfectly, but I had another problem: internet didn’t
work in LINUX. In order to solve this problem, I checked the
configuration of net devices in Yast. Comparing my configuration with
the one used by a friend with the same version of Opensuse, we
realized that there was a difference in “Net card
configuration/General/Activate device”. I had the option “Manually”,
and he had “During boot”. I changed this option, and internet started
to work. You must be wondering what does Gid have to do with this.
Well, the problem is that after changing this option, GiD didn’t
recognize the license (I use a portable USB one). First, I tried
asking for a conventional password to register GiD in the professional
version, but it didn´t work. So I tried to undo the change in
the configuration of the net devices, turning it to “Manually” again,
and the problem was solved.

Now I must choose between using GiD and internet, which is quite
annoying. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.
