Maybe do you have set some unwanted user preference, you can reset this preferences deleting the files
.GiDPostPreferences.ini and gid.ini, located in Windows Vista/7 in the folder
C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming\GiD
(your_user depends of your own user)
if you delete this files they will be rebuilt with default values when starting GiD

Hello,
You can change between several display styles through the “Select & Display Style” window (Utilities-View Style). In order to see the mesh please select “All lines” or “Body Lines” in the Style menu (in the left bottom side of the window).
You can also use the “Display Style” button placed in the “Geometry & View bar”
