I have a problem with GID when I open it, the window with a warning comes up: Could not create graphical window with 'redsize 8 -greensize 8 …, so GID is shut down, I do not know how I Can fix this error.
Which exact GiD version?
and what is your exact operating system?
If you are on Linux platform and have problems with your graphic card (after update your drivers) can also try a ‘graphics by sofware’ option, starting GiD with the command
gidx
instead of
gid
